I just finished a mid century modern piece, another hexagon table. Melissa says they are my signature piece. That sounds exciting that I have a signature piece!
I really enjoy working with the furniture and the Country Chic Paint. I'm getting better at applying the wax which was the toughest step for me prior to using Country Chic. Their wax goes on easily and buffs up nicely. No more waxy residue on my pieces.
I tried a stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils and loved it. The stencil was easy to use and clean. They have so many examples and tutorials on their website. I just ordered 4 more stencils tonight. They are having a 20% off special. I ordered a stencil to try on a wall in my house and another one for the inside of a piece of furniture. I was inspired by another Country Chic Paint Retailers to try the stencil inside a dresser with a side door. The dresser isn't in good shape so it can definitely use some TLC.
Here are a few of my latest pieces that I have completed. They will all be available at the 5&10 Antique Market in North East MD. I hope you enjoy them.
